ZhongKui News (zhongkui.news) is a static news site. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve the site. This policy explains what happens when you visit.
What we collect
- No accounts, no forms, no newsletters. We never ask for your name, email, or any personal information to read the site.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and referral sources. GA4 sets first-party cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not run advertising.
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard connection data (IP address, user agent, requested pages) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Your choices
You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics across sites with Google's opt-out add-on. The site works exactly the same either way.
Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages embed official videos from YouTube. When you press play, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect usage data under its own privacy policy. Where possible we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie) embed mode, which limits cookies until you interact with the player.
External links
We link to external sites (official game pages, platform stores, social media). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Children
The site is a general-audience news site and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, children included.
